Troubleshooting guides

  1. CA3000 host will not install properly or will not start.

  2. CA3000 workstation will not install properly or connect
    to the CA3000 host.


  3. MSDE (SQL) will not install during the CA3000
    installation (CA3000 V2.5.16 and earlier)


  4. SQL 2005 (SQLEXPRESS) will not install during the
    CA3000 installation (CA3000 V2.5.6 and later)


  5. Physical security key failure on CA3000 (Note: if it is a
    soft license, refer to the troubleshooting guide for soft
    licensing problems).


  6. Unable to license the CA3000 using a soft license
    (version 2.5.9 and later)


  7. No communications to panel using a serial cable
    (polling cable)


  8. No communications to panel using a network
    connection (UDS-10, UDS-1100 or Super2 Netboard)
